Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and analytically skilled part-time Data Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing the profitability of our landscaping projects, monitoring employee hours worked, and managing various performance metrics to support strategic decisions and operational efficiencies. This role is pivotal in identifying trends, uncovering insights, and recommending actions to enhance our business profitability and productivity.

Key Responsibilities:
Data Collection & Management: Collect and manage data related to landscaping projects, including costs, revenues, materials used, and timeframes. Maintain accurate records of employee hours worked on different projects.
Profitability Analysis: Perform detailed analyses of project profitability, identifying factors that influence profit margins and providing actionable insights to improve financial outcomes.
Performance Metrics: Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to project execution, employee productivity, and resource utilization. Ensure metrics are aligned with business objectives.
Reporting: Create regular reports and dashboards that provide clear insights into project performance, profitability, and workforce productivity. Highlight trends, anomalies, and areas of concern.
Forecasting: Assist in forecasting future project performance based on historical data and market trends. Provide data-driven recommendations for scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
Process Improvement: Analyze current operational processes and suggest improvements based on data insights. Support the implementation of data-driven strategies to optimize efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, finance, and HR departments to ensure data accuracy and relevance. Communicate findings and recommendations effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
Proven experience in data analysis, ideally within the landscaping, construction, or related industries.
Strong proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL) and experience with business intelligence software (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and statistical modeling skills.
Ability to manage and analyze large datasets, translating complex data into actionable insights.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to present findings clearly to a variety of audiences.
Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and precision.
Flexible and adaptable, capable of juggling multiple projects and deadlines.

Work Hours & Benefits:
This is a part-time position, with expected hours ranging from 15-20 per week. The schedule can be flexible but may require occasional availability during business hours for meetings and collaboration.
