Data Analyst

Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and certified Data Analyst with advanced proficiency in Excel and strong experience in data cleansing. The ideal candidate will possess the capability to transform raw data into actionable insights, aiding in informed business decisions.

Responsibilities :

– Consolidate and analyze financial data, including budgets and income statement forecasts, while considering the company’s goals and financial standing, ensuring data readability for other department members.
– Assemble and summarize data to create sophisticated reports on financial status and risks, making sure that these reports are accessible and understandable to colleagues in other departments.
– Prepare accounting and other required reports and projections based on the analysis performed, ensuring clarity and transparency in the presented data.
– Establish and evaluate records, statements, and profit plans, ensuring that the documentation is clear and comprehensible to others.
– Conduct business studies on past, future, and comparative performance and develop forecast models that can be shared and understood by a broader audience.
– Continuously gain and update job knowledge to remain informed about developments in the field, and share this knowledge in an understandable manner with colleagues in various departments.

Qualifications :

– Proven experience as a Financial Analyst or similar role
– Strong proficiency in data manipulation and analysis using Excel
– Excel experience using index match with multiple criteria, sumifs/countifs, dynamic named ranges, VBA, and other complex formulas
– Experience cleaning messy data and linking various data sources together
– Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, or other relevant tools
– Tableau desired not required
– SQL desired but not required
– Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
– Excellent communication and collaboration skills
– Must be willing to work US working hours
