We are now seeking an experienced Data Analyst to join our team and help enhance our decision-making process by providing data-driven insights.

Job Description:

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Data Analyst to join our team and support the firm’s continued growth. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing various aspects of our business, including new case acquisition, case cost, settlement timelines, revenue & expense projections, attorney performance evaluation, medical record retrieval time, cost projection, and budgeting.

Responsibilities:

– Collect, clean, and analyze data from various sources to support decision-making and identify trends.

– Develop and maintain performance metrics and KPIs related to new case acquisition, case cost, settlement timelines, and more.

– Create visually appealing and informative reports and dashboards on the value vs expense for each case, attorney value based on salary and bonuses vs fees generated, medical record retrieval time, and projections on costs and expenses.

– Regularly assess attorney performance against revenue generation, adjusting analysis to account for salary, bonus, and other relevant factors.

– Collaborate closely with the management team and legal professionals to translate data insights into actionable recommendations.

– Contribute to the development and maintenance of budgeting processes.

– Continuously improve analytic processes and methodologies to enhance the quality and impact of data-driven recommendations.

– Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments to ensure that our firm remains competitive in the market.

Requirements:

– Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.

– Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience as a Data Analyst, preferably within the legal industry or a related field.

– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.

– Proficiency in statistical software (e.g., R, Python) and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).

– Knowledge of database management systems and SQL.

– Demonstrated ability to communicate complex data insights to non-technical audience effectively.

– Familiarity with legal case management, billing, and budgeting processes will be a strong plus.

– Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
