Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Data Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and analyzing data to support business decisions and strategy. You will develop and maintain data structures, data logics, data processes, data scripts, and data flows, stay up-to-date with the latest data analytics tools and trends, ensure data accuracy and completeness, collaborate with other team members and departments, and develop and maintain data reporting processes and systems.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of data management, data operations, and data reporting with proficiency in data query and analysis tools such as Power Automate, Excel, PowerBI etc. Strong communication and collaboration skills, problem-solving skills, and the ability to learn new data analytics tools and techniques quickly are essential.

Key Responsibilities:
– Develop and maintain data structures, such as databases and data models, to ensure that data is organized and stored efficiently.
– Design and implement the data logic and business rules that are used to transform raw data into meaningful insights.
– Define the sources, destinations, and transformations of data as it moves through the system, including data pipelines, data workflows, and data integrations.
– Develop and maintain the scripts, functions, and libraries that are required to process and analyze data efficiently.
– Develop and maintain documentation for data structures, data logics, data processes, data scripts, and data flows to ensure consistency, accuracy, and accountability in the data analytics function.
– Develop and maintain data processes, such as ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and data cleansing processes, to – ensure that data is accurate and complete.
– Stay up-to-date with the latest data analytics tools, techniques, and trends, and apply them to improve data analytics efficiency and effectiveness.
– Develop and implement data validation rules to ensure that data meets defined standards for accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
– Maintain and transfer data across the data platform, to ensure that the data across each platform is up-to-date.
– Develop and maintain the operation use tables for department operation process and data capture, to help to smooth and monitor the operation process.
– Develop and maintain the operation use tables for the inventory operation process and data capture, to help to smooth and monitor the operation process.
– Develop and maintain the detection tool that monitors and verifies the data related to inventory, to make sure inventory data is accurate for operation and reporting.
– Design visually appealing and easy-to-understand reports using data visualization techniques such as charts, graphs, and dashboards.
– Develop reports using data analysis tools such as SQL, Excel, or BI tools such as Power BI and Google’s Data Studio.
– Deliver reports to stakeholders in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring that reports are distributed to the right people at the right time.
– Customize reports to meet the specific needs of different stakeholders, such as providing summary reports for senior management or detailed reports for operational staff.
– Automate report generation and delivery processes to save time and reduce errors.
– Analyze reports to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can support decision-making.
– Maintain and update reports to ensure that they remain accurate and relevant over time.
– Assist the Managing Director or the Merchandise Manager with merchandise and product requests.
– Help the merchandise and warehouse teams with data entry as needed.
– Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field
– At least 3 years of experience in data analytics, with a focus on data collection, processing, and analysis
– Strong understanding of data analytics concepts, such as data structures, data logics, data processes, data scripts, and data flows
– Demonstrated communication skills and the ability to form effective working relationships
– Advanced Excel skills, including the ability to manipulate and analyze large datasets using advanced functions, Power Query, Pivot Table and DAX
– Experience with data analysis tools and techniques, such as SQL, Python, and R
– Experience with data visualization tools, such as Power BI, or similar tools
– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
– Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders
– Good computer literacy in Microsoft Office Suite
– Ability to thrive in a high-paced team environment
– The ability to prioritize work in a time-sensitive environment
– Experience with inventory management and data processing is a plus
– Must have a stable and fast internet connection and a great computer for handling large data.
