Job Description

4ocean is looking for an experienced Data Analyst to report to the Director of Partnerships.. We are looking for a long-term fit with someone who is focused on personal growth, delivering results, and has a passion for the ocean and environment.
The ideal candidate will pull data from various sources (ie; excel, Hubspot, Google Sheets) to analyze and visualize the data. The successful candidate will be a critical thinker with a strong analytical background and the ability to work independently.

Required Skills/Abilities:
– Pulling data from multiple sources and integrating it into a cohesive dataset
– Utilizing different Data Analysis tools to analyze and visualize data for key stakeholders
– Continuously identifying areas for improvement and implementing new data analysis methods
– Receives, gathers, analyzes, and organizes information from multiple sources.
– Ensures completeness of received information and reconciles inconsistencies.
– Accurately enters required data into one or more databases, documents, or spreadsheets.
– Monitoring and analyzing e-commerce metrics and figures.
– Transforming e-commerce data into operational insights.

Education and Experience:
– Demonstrated experience with Excel, Google Sheets, Canva, HubSpot
– Bonus if you have experience working with SQL, Power BI and Tableau
– Work experience as a data analyst or business analyst with an ecommerce company
– Ability to work with stakeholders to assess potential risks.
– Ability to analyze existing tools and databases and provide software solution recommendations.
– Ability to translate business requirements into non-technical, lay terms.
– High-level written and verbal communication skills.
