The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in data analytics, financial analysis, and a proven ability to turn complex data sets into actionable insights. This role requires a detail-oriented and strategic thinker who is proactive and can work independently.
Requirements
Relevant certifications in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, or other data analytics tools.
Experience in a senior data analyst role.
B bachelor’s degree in data science, Statistics, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in data analysis, with a focus on using Microsoft Excel, Power Query, and Power BI.
Proficient in using Power Query for data manipulation and ETL processes.
Strong experience in data modeling, analysis, and visualization using Power BI.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Proactive.

Utilize advanced Excel skills to analyze large data sets, including use of complex formulas.
Expertly employ Power Query for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes. – This is very important
Design, develop, and maintain sophisticated reports and dashboards using Power BI, ensuring they meet business requirements.
Analyse financial data, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide solutions using Excel, Power Query, and Power BI.
Conduct in-depth data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can inform business strategies.
Implement best practices for data validation and integrity to ensure accuracy and reliability of reports.
Stay current with the latest developments and features in Microsoft Excel, Power Query, and Power BI.
