Strategic Staffing Solutions International’s client an American, California based multinational energy corporation and one of largest oil and gas company with locations in more than 180 countries is expanding in Philippines and looking for a Data Analyst.
Overview of Work:
Partner with BU and Geospatial teams to plan and execute Application Impact Assessment, analyze impacted application data requirements, prepare business unit data for ingestion through supporting data management, data mapping, and data modeling activities.
Play a key workflow management & communications role between our team, IT BUDM team, Digital Platform teams & the Business.
Provide oversight and help troubleshoot data quality and integrity during implementation of Digital Core/S4Hana impacted solutions.
Requirements:
Knowledge of one or more business domains (Finance, Asset Management, Material Management, Upstream Business)
Knowledge of Data Modeling Patterns and Designs
Knowledge of Azure Data Lake and Azure SQL storage platforms
Knowledge of older storage platforms (MS SQL Server, ERP/SAP, etc.)
Knowledge of Power BI to prepare and manage report and dashboard
Awareness of Azure Synapse, Azure Databricks
Awareness of Integration tools within Azure (Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure Data Brick, Python, Spark SQL)
Knowledge in BU (Upstream or other) data patterns (DIAL, OSDU, Microsoft Energy Design Patterns, etc.).
Ability to analyze various data sets, clarify data relationships, troubleshoot data issues and work with data architects/engineers to fix problems – ability to tell story with data
Ability to communicate with both business SMEs and development team members
Ability to develop, navigate, and comprehend mapping documents.
Experience with Azure DevOps (ADO) tool for work management.
Practitioner of Agile/SAFe practices.
Awareness of Data Modeling best practices (Star Schema, Time-Series, CI/CD, Cube).
Influencing skills and demonstrated ability to engage scrum teams and business partners to achieve targeted outcome.
