Data Engineer (SQL, Alteryx, Power BI, Excel)/ Junior Developer

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Data Engineer/ Junior Software Developer /to join our team. As a part of our Data Engineering team, your primary focus will be on SQL, ETL tools such as Alteryx, and you should also be familiar with Power BI and Excel.

Responsibilities:
– Assist in designing, developing, and maintaining SQL queries and scripts to support data analysis and reporting requirements.
– Work with Alteryx to create and optimize ETL workflows for data extraction, transformation, and loading processes.
– Collaborate with the team to understand data requirements and ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency.
– Assist in database performance tuning and optimization to improve query performance and overall system efficiency.
– Participate in data integration projects and assist in integrating data from various sources into our data infrastructure.
– Support the development of dashboards and reports using Power BI for data visualization and analysis.
– Utilize Excel to perform data analysis and present insights to stakeholders.
– Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in data engineering and software development.

Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
– Strong understanding of SQL and database concepts, with the ability to write complex queries.
– Familiarity with ETL tools, especially Alteryx, and experience in designing data workflows.
– Basic knowledge of data visualization using Power BI and ability to create informative reports and dashboards.
– Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and manipulation.
– Knowledge of programming languages such as Python is a plus.
– Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
– Excellent communication skills and a keen attention to detail.
– Passion for data engineering, software development, and a desire to learn and grow in the field.

Salary:
Commensurate with experience. Starting at $1250 per month.
