Edward Jacobs is a market-leading recruitment firm specialising in accounting and finance. We work with clients ranging from large international corporations to boutique businesses across metropolitan and regional Australia.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated individual to join our team as a Data Entry and Lead Generation Specialist. This role primarily involves accurately entering data into our systems and databases and supporting lead-generation efforts to drive business growth. The ideal candidate has excellent attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work with large volumes of data. Additionally, proficiency in lead generation techniques and tools is essential. This position requires a proactive approach, working independently, and effective communication skills.

Data Entry:
• Accurately enter and update data in databases, spreadsheets, or other designated systems.
• Input client data into our database, ensuring accuracy and completeness
• Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive information.
• Organize and categorize data for easy retrieval and analysis.
• Perform data cleanup and deduplication tasks as necessary.
• Manage the email response queue and prioritize responses based on urgency and importance.
• Monitor the database for errors and inconsistencies, and work to resolve issues as they arise
• Manage candidate applications and resumes, ensuring that all necessary information is collected and entered into our database.
• Develop our database of client contacts.
• Provide administrative support to the recruitment team as needed.

Lead Generation:
• Identify and research potential leads through various channels, including online research, industry directories, social media, and professional networks.
• Utilize lead generation tools and software to automate data collection and streamline the lead generation process.
• Qualify leads based on predefined criteria to ensure their suitability for recruitment.
• Conduct initial outreach to leads, gather information, and assess their interest and potential as sales prospects.

Job Qualifications:
• 2+ years of experience in data entry and lead generation, preferably in the recruitment industry.
• Proficient in data entry and management using spreadsheets, databases, or CRM systems.
• Familiarity with lead generation tools, techniques, and software.
• Knowledge of Hubspot software is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately with large volumes of data.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to derive insights from data.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proactive and self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Amenable to working full-time on the AU shift
• Must have their own laptop and has an internet connection speed of at least 50mbps.
