Job Description:
We are seeking a meticulous and organized Data Entry Specialist to join our team. This role is crucial to maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our electronic health records (EHR) by uploading lab reports, and inputting values from these reports. Additionally, the Data Entry Specialist will verify that patients have proper identification and photos associated with their
accounts.

Key Responsibilities:
• Accurately upload lab reports into the EHR system, ensuring all required tests are included.
• Input values from lab reports into the EHR with high attention to detail.
• Verify that patients’ accounts have valid IDs and associated photos.
• Maintain confidentiality and security of patient information in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Ensure data integrity by conducting regular audits and data quality checks.
• Collaborate with the nursing team and other healthcare professionals to resolve any discrepancies or issues related to lab reports.
• Provide support for other data entry-related tasks as needed.

Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a Data Entry Specialist or in a similar role, preferably within the healthcare industry.
• Strong attention to detail and high degree of accuracy in data entry.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems and medical terminology.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and integrity.
• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a remote team environment.
• Basic understanding of lab reports and medical tests is a plus.

Education and Experience:
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certification in data entry or related fields is a plus.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in data entry, preferably in a healthcare setting.
