Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Data Entry Specialist to join our growing firm at Dabbah, Haddad & Suleiman, APC. The primary responsibility of this role is to efficiently process a variety of legal documents, including medical reports, correspondence, subpoena records, and more. The Data entry specialist will play a crucial role in maintaining the accuracy and organization of our case management system. Candidates with adept computer skills and a natural passion for technology are ideal for this job. 8AM – 5PM (PST)*
*Candidate MUST be able available to work during hours of operation.

[Role and Responsibilities]

Data Entry and Document Processing:

– Accurately Input data from legal documents into our case management system.
– Organize, categorize, and maintain digital files to ensure easy searchability.
– Conduct preflight checks to analyze PDFs and ensure precise page width sizing.
– Convert Word and TIFF files to PDF format when necessary.
– Reduce size of large videos to meet upload requirements by performing file compression.
– Export images from Dicom software.

Attention to Detail:

– Maintain meticulous attention to detail when entering information, ensuring data accuracy.
– Detect and prevent errors in data entry and document processing.
– Correcting any errors found in formatting, etc.

Efficiency and Time Management:

– Handle high volumes of data entry tasks efficiently and meet established deadlines.
– Prioritize tasks based on urgency and importance.

Software Proficiency:

– Demonstrate a strong understanding of computer software, online tools and SaaS services
(eg: Adobe Acrobat, Fox-it PDF, Microsoft Office, Handbrake, Dropbox, Monday, etc).

Qualifications:

– Previous experience in data entry, document processing, or related roles preferred.
– Proficiency in computers and computer software.
– Strong typing skills with a high level of accuracy.
– Self-reliant with a demonstrated ability to problem-solve.
– Exceptional attention to detail and organization.
– C2-level English proficiency.
– Excellent communication and time management skills.
– Ability to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks effectively.
– Aptitude for excelling in demanding environments and remaining composed when faced with challenges.
– Experience with Casefriend and Edexis a big plus.
