Data Entry Specialist and Web Scraper

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized individual with a great attitude to join our team as a Data Entry Specialist and Web Scraper. The primary responsibility of this role is to manually extract and enter data from Amazon and affiliate websites. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for accuracy, excellent attention to detail, and proficiency in data entry.
Responsibilities:
Web Scraping:
Manually scrape information from Amazon and affiliate websites.
Extract relevant data such as product details, prices, ratings, and other key information.
Data Entry:
Accurately enter scraped data into databases, spreadsheets, or other designated platforms.
Ensure data integrity and consistency across all entries.
Quality Control:
Conduct regular quality checks to verify the accuracy of the scraped and entered data.
Identify and correct errors or inconsistencies promptly.
Research:
Work with larger team to help developing process and automation.
Research and gather additional information as needed to enhance data completeness.
Collaboration:
Work closely with the data analysis team to understand specific data requirements and help in automation.
Communicate effectively with team members to address any issues or challenges encountered during the scraping process.
Qualifications:
Experience:
Proven experience in manual web scraping, particularly from e-commerce sites such as Amazon and affiliate platforms.
Previous experience in data entry roles is a plus.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in data entry and data manipulation tools.
Familiarity with web scraping tools and techniques.
Attention to Detail:
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
