We are currently seeking a detail-oriented Data Entry Specialist Level 1 to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a keen understanding of accounting principles, particularly the differences between transfers and credit card payments, and will play a critical role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our financial records.

Key Responsibilities:
Accurately enter financial transactions into our accounting software, ensuring each transaction is categorized correctly.
Distinguish between transfers and credit card payments to ensure accurate financial reporting and reconciliation.
Review and categorize each transaction individually, avoiding creating broad rules that overlook the nuances of each entry.
Collaborate with our accounting team to resolve discrepancies in financial records.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of accounting practices and principles, applying this knowledge to daily tasks.

Qualifications:
Proven experience in data entry, bookkeeping, or a similar role.
Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and keen attention to detail.
Familiarity with accounting software, specifically QuickBooks Online.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
