4ocean is looking for an experienced Data Management Specialist to report into the Director of Cleanups. We are looking for a long term fit with someone who is focused on personal growth, delivering results, and has a passion for the ocean and environment. About This Position:
Reporting to the Director of Cleanup Operations , you will fully support the Cleanup Operation. You will have full responsibility for documenting the recovered materials collected by our cleanup teams as well as inventory reporting tasks. You will work closely with the Director of Cleanups and assist the position by providing valuable information of the operation from a Data and Inventory perspective.

Responsibilities:
– Implement efficient tools and processes to make sure the process runs smoothly and accurately.
– Manage all documentation to support this function.
– Oversee and maintain Recovered Material Inventory for Cleanup Operations
– Report weekly on the status of Materials Recovered and Trash Tracker submissions
– Anticipate problems and initiate the course of action to resolve
– Oversee and maintain data into our Impact / Trash Tracker System
– Assist with quarterly reviews of Materials Recovered and Trash Tracker submissions

Qualifications:
Joining our Cleanup Department as a Data Management Specialist you will need to have as much of the relevant experience and/or transferable skills in order to quickly pick things up and run with them. Here are a few other things we will need you to have:
– Experience on Inventory control
– Strong attention to detail, goal oriented
– Commitment to excellent customer service
– Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities
– Excellent Excel Skills and knowledge of Google Workplace to include, Docs, Sheets, Drive, and Slides
– 2 years experience as a Virtual Assistant to a US or Canada based individual
– Self-motivated and focused with a high-level of attention to detail and sense of urgency
– Proven ability to communicate, both verbally and written, with people at all levels of an organization
– Proven ability to manage multiple tasks while working independently
– Have a real passion for protecting our environment and the ocean
