The ideal candidate will be responsible for extracting, cleaning, and analyzing large datasets to provide actionable insights and automated solutions that support our strategic pricing and revenue management. This role requires strong Python skills, a solid foundation in data manipulation, and a keen passion for solving complex problems with advanced data science techniques.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Develop and maintain sophisticated data analysis tools and algorithms using Python, focusing on automation of data processes and enhancement of analytical capabilities.
Extract and clean data from various sources, ensuring accuracy and integrity for analysis.
Generate detailed reports and spot revenue leakages, optimizing strategies based on data-driven insights.
Implement and refine predictive models and machine learning algorithms to forecast market trends and pricing behaviors.
Collaborate closely with revenue managers and the business owner to understand analytical needs and deliver solutions that drive decision-making.
Maintain and enhance existing analytical tools, ensuring they adapt to changing market conditions and business needs.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field. Extensive experience may compensate for the lack of a formal degree.
Proven expertise in Python and its libraries for data science (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow).
Strong experience in data extraction, cleaning, and manipulation.
Excellent analytical skills with a robust attention to detail.
Experience in developing predictive models and using machine learning algorithms.
Proficient in SQL and familiar with database management systems such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Google BigQuery.
Demonstrated ability to communicate complex data insights effectively.

COMPENSATION:
