DATA SCRUBBER IN ENTRY-LEVEL VA ROLE (6-10 HRS/WK)

We are looking for a part-time Data Scrubbing VA to join our team at Higher Ground Land Company.

Our business sells vacant land all across the United States. We only specialize in vacant land, and do not sell any other type of real estate.

Our business model has two main parts:

1 – Acquisitions – Purchasing (acquiring) land from sellers (usually individual owners)
2 – Dispositions – Selling the land to end buyers (usually builders, developers, and individual buyers seeking to purchase recreational land for hobbies or building their dream home)

Our acquisitions department generates leads through the following marketing channels: 1) Direct mail, and 2) Cold texting.

Our marketing process entails pulling landowner records from our data platform, scrubbing this list data for the data we need, organizing data into spreadsheets, and preparing the lists for mailing – all of which are be a part of this role.

The Virtual Assistant will initially be responsible for scrubbing our landowner list data in preparation for mailing, as well as other back end administrative duties to streamline our operations.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
– Scrubbing our data platform’s search results to remove “undesired properties” and “unlikely sellers”
– Preparing list spreadsheets for mailing and sending to mailhouse
– Analyzing market data for assigned markets and “pricing” the market values and our offer price accordingly
– Generate comparable sales data (“comps”) for properties of like-kind in the same geographical area (we will provide training on “comping” process)
– Run preliminary property check on new leads
– Other administrative duties, as assigned

IMPORTANT: This position has the potential to grow into a 20+ hour/week position, and our dream candidate has interest in growing their role with the company to more than 10 hours per week.

HARD SKILLS NEEDED
1) Proficiency in Google Sheets (data entry, formulas, etc)

SOFT SKILLS NEEDED
1) Fluent in speaking and writing english
2) Detail-oriented
3) Kind and empathetic
4) Eager for professional growth (See above note regarding potential to grow into 20+ hrs/wk)

HOURS & SCHEDULE:
1) Starting at 6-10 hrs/wk (can increase, as you gain familiarity in the role)
2) Flexible days & hours – though we’ll start at 2-3 days/week, at 2-3 hours per shift. (We’re flexible here)
3) Schedule – Flexible, but sometime between the hours of 10 am and 5 pm Eastern Standard Time (New York Time)

PAY:
1) Base hourly pay, starting between $3-4/hr for this entry-level role
