Data Specialist

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Data Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess advanced Excel knowledge, proficiency in creating lookups, macros, and VBA coding, and a strong understanding of Power Automate. The primary responsibility of the Data Specialist will be to create, maintain, and enhance our current spreadsheets for data extraction.

Pay Range: $8 – $10 / hour based on experience with a performance review scheduled after 90 days of employment. We believe in rewarding exceptional talents.

Objectives:

Utilize advanced Excel functions to manipulate, analyze, visualize and extract data.
Develop and maintain complex Excel spreadsheets to extract, transform, and load data.
Design and implement automated solutions using VBA macros and Power Automate.
Collaborate with team members to understand data requirements and ensure accuracy and completeness of data.
Troubleshoot data-related issues and provide solutions in a timely manner.
Keep abreast of industry trends and best practices in data management and automation.

Competencies:

Proven experience as a Data Specialist or similar role.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP, PivotTables, and complex formula creation.
Strong knowledge of VBA programming and experience in developing macros.
Ability to create automated workflows through Power Automate.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Education and Experience:

While experience working in operations is preferred, we welcome applicants without direct experience who exhibit the above criteria.

Physical Requirements:

Comfortable sitting for extended periods while using a computer.
