Davinci resolve video editor needed!!

Hi, we’re a video editing service looking to expand; we’re looking for a long-term, full-time, IMMEDIATE position as a professional Davinci Resolve video editor. Below is the general job description as well as the requirements.

Job workflow

**Summary/Objective:** You’re trimming & enhancing raw footage clips by color correcting, improving the dynamic range & adding a depth of field effect; noise reduction sharpening & audio could be disregarded. The final output would be for us to have all clips enhanced and trimmed individually for our lead editor to use in Premiere Pro.

The specifics (Step by step)

1 Organize clips in folders & subfolders
2 Create projects and imports files into the project
3 Create a sequence for each set of clips
4 Trims out bad parts of clips and selects the best takes by eliminating the worst takes
5 Color corrects the clips (Balance the highlights, shadows, tint, temperature, etc.). Make the colors look as natural as possible. If a shot is exposed, and increasing the exposure introduces noise, do it anyway; we will handle the noise reduction in another application
6 Use magic mask & or depth map to create a depth field effect on the selected clips; feel free to use keyframing if this helps add to the realism, and do this in the color tab, use a depth map, masking etc, which ever combination of FX you feel are best to achieve the desired result
7 Mark & label the clip that you modified.

The compensation will range between $50-$80 per job, with the potential of receiving bonuses & raises over time.
Initially, this will be a part-time position (2-3 jobs per week) ($400-$960 per month)
After the 1st 5-9 weeks of employment, this will become a full-time position (3-5 jobs per week) ($720-$2000 per month)

Requirements

– A strong computer with a good dedicated GPU
– Experience in Davinci resolve
– Reliable
– A strong work ethic
– A fast internet connection (if not, we’ll provide you with one)
– A real passion for video editing
– Fast editing skills, required to edit 2-3 jobs per week
