DCMA Takedown Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced DCMA Takedown & IP Protection Specialist to join our team. As an expert in this role, you will be responsible for safeguarding our intellectual property (IP) by identifying and taking down any unauthorized use of our images, logos, descriptions, and branding on various online platforms. If you have a proven track record in effectively identifying copyright infringements, filing DMCA takedowns on Shopify and Facebook, and are confident in your ability to protect our IP rights, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

* Conduct thorough research to identify websites, online stores, and social media pages that are using our copyrighted images, logos, descriptions, and branding without authorization.
* File DMCA takedown notices on Shopify, Facebook, and other platforms to promptly remove infringing content.
* Collaborate with legal teams and relevant authorities to escalate cases when necessary.
* Keep up-to-date records of all takedown requests and follow up to ensure compliance.
* Implement proactive strategies to prevent future infringements and protect our IP rights.
* Stay informed about copyright laws, IP protection practices, and industry trends.

Requirements:

* Proven experience in DCMA takedowns and intellectual property protection, specifically related to images, logos, descriptions, and branding.
* Familiarity with Shopify’s takedown process and experience in handling DMCA cases on their platform.
* Demonstrated ability to handle DMCA takedowns for Facebook ads and other social media platforms effectively.
* Exceptional analytical skills to identify copyright infringements and gather evidence for takedown requests.
* Strong knowledge of copyright laws, DMCA guidelines, and IP protection regulations.
* Ability to work independently and confidently to protect our IP rights proactively.
* Excellent communication skills to liaise with internal teams, legal representatives, and platform administrators.
