Role (Overview of the Position)
As a Delivery Manager, you are entrusted with the pivotal role of ensuring seamless project delivery, fostering client relationships, and leading your team of skilled professionals, known as pods, to success. Your primary responsibility is to oversee the end-to-end management of projects, guarantee client satisfaction, and maximize profitability, all while nurturing a collaborative and innovative work environment.
Responsibilities
• Project Leadership and Management
– Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships, understanding their business needs, and aligning project deliverables accordingly.
– Develop strategic plans for project productivity, ensuring optimal allocation of resources, timely completion, and adherence to approved budgets and SOW.
– Effectively prioritize project tasks based on available resources, guiding pod members with clear direction and support.
– Anticipate and address potential project delays, providing solutions and escalating blockers promptly to facilitate continuous progress.
– Financial Ownership
– Take ownership of pod-level Profit and Loss, overseeing revenue, resource allocation, budgeting, and forecasting to maximize profitability.
– Utilize data to make informed decisions regarding project commitments, ensuring efficient productivity and financial success.
• People Management and Development
– Provide strong leadership, mentorship, and support to pod members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
– Actively engage in mentorship programs to guide team members in their career growth, identifying and nurturing potential leaders within the pod.
– Utilize data-driven insights to make informed decisions regarding recruitment, promotions, and staffing projections, ensuring optimal pod capacity.
• Communication and Client Engagement
– Supervise communication within the pod, ensuring transparency, collaboration, and a positive work environment.
– Focus on client retention, identifying opportunities to add value to client projects, and exploring avenues for upselling additional services to enhance client relationships.
• Thought Leadership and Innovation
– Possess a deep understanding of project requirements, enabling accurate estimation and effective preparation of Statements of Work (SOWs).
– Drive thought leadership initiatives, exploring innovative solutions and approaches to enhance project outcomes and client satisfaction.
• Empathetic Leadership
– Demonstrate empathy and active listening skills, understanding the needs and concerns of pod members, fostering a supportive and collaborative team environment.

• Ensure that your direct reports are aligned with the company’s visions and core values, fostering a cohesive and purpose-driven work environment within the pod.
• Provide clear direction to pod members, guiding their decisions and actions in line with the overarching company goals and principles.
• Implement strategies that lead to the maximization of both individual and team growth, leveraging opportunities for skill development and career advancement.
• Contribute significantly to the pod and company profitability by making data-driven decisions, optimizing resource utilization, and ensuring projects are completed within budget and timeline constraints.
• Provide continuous support to pod members, promptly addressing issues and growth blockers on a daily basis, ensuring a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Eradicate hurdles that hinder project progress, enabling pod members to deliver projects in a timely manner, meeting or exceeding client expectations.
• Utilize staffing and resource allocation strategies that match the skills and expertise of pod members with project requirements, ensuring the pod operates at peak efficiency.
• Effectively manage and allocate resources, optimizing productivity and ensuring that projects are adequately staffed to meet client demands.
• Execute the pod’s strategic plan meticulously, translating high-level objectives into actionable tasks and ensuring the delivery of high-quality products and services that meet client satisfaction benchmarks.
• Provide clear and prioritized directions to pod members, aligning their efforts with pod-level priorities and client requirements.
• Foster a happy, healthy, and collaborative working environment within the pod, promoting positivity, teamwork, and open communication.
• Cultivate strong working relationships among pod members, encouraging mutual respect, support, and camaraderie to enhance overall productivity and job satisfaction.
Requirements (Expected Proficiencies)

• Experience leading high-performing teams, including the ability to recognize and cultivate rising talent.
• Experience in e-commerce sites, CRM, and ERP
• Proven track record in software development, digital marketing, or a similarly relevant industry.
• Adept at transitioning seamlessly from a strategic level vision to day-to-day tactical operations.
• Working knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metrics.
• A demonstrated execution mindset and a record of success in holding people accountable.
• Understanding of and ability to create a healthy organizational culture.
• Equipment and setup ready for remote working.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
• An understanding of the software development cycle and some of the jargon associated with it.
