Design Production Specialist

This is a remote position.
We’re looking to hire a full time Design Production Specialist. We are a high growth start-up that relies on amazing designs created by our design team for our customers.

As a Design Production Specialist at Threadly, you will have the opportunity to grow within our portfolio of brands, learn from some of the best designers in the industry, and get hands-on experience in working with client-based requests. Daily operations can change quickly, as is expected with a high growth company. Currently, the job responsibilities include:
– Handle and create Illustrator and print ready files
– Work with other departments to cover design needs
– Assist other team members with minor revisions
– Assure that the files are up to standards and compliant with different licensing guidelines
– Assure that the files are error-free
Job Requirements / Skills:
– Excellent English comprehension and written English skills.
– Excellent time management skills.
– Excellent drive and accountability.
– Excellent Communication Skills
– Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite. In order of importance:
Adobe Illustrator
Adobe Photoshop
– Basic understanding of print design best practices.
Examples:
– Knowledge of Pantone Color Management System
– Expanding text and strokes/cleaning up Illustrator files for print
– Basic design theory:
(at least cursory knowledge of things like the rule of thirds, color theory, the golden ratio- intro to art/design type stuff)
– Ability to work on tight deadlines
– Must have a meticulous attention to detail and proofreading
– Ability to multitask
Hardware/Software Requirements:
– Workstation computer – needs to be of high caliber with graphic cards.
– Adobe Creative Cloud software – MUST HAVE
– Stable internet connection – > 50mbps
– Backup internet connection
