Your Personal Development Plan

As a company we like to implement a culture of straight talking and honesty, whether that be regarding any team members work or conduct. We are setting the very highest of standards for work, and to reach those standards long term requires honest feedback. There are two types of feedback we like to implement at SHF:

1. Rapid Feedback

After any piece of work, presentation or call we expect the senior member of the team on the call to give rapid fire feedback on the performance in the relevant task. This is designed to create a rolling culture of feedback and honesty and means you can learn whilst experiences are fresh and relevant

2. 360 Feedback

Every quarter we will hold 360 feedback sessions, in which team members who work together feedback on each other in a no hold bars development session. Employees tell their managers how they can improve their management style and ways of working and managers tell employees how they can develop their level of work and output. It will be your responsibility to organise these 360 Feedback sessions.

Aside from this, we will also have informal meetings with you on a half yearly basis about your personal development which will focus on how you want to develop your skills and role at Sew Heart Felt.

Why Work for Us
Sew Heart Felt is on a mission to bring joy through beautifully designed products to homes around the world. You should join us if you believe in our purpose and genuinely want to contribute to it.

We are a start-up with high standards and a strong culture of kindness, honesty and transparency. You will learn as you go and develop skills and aptitudes that will be applicable in any career or company you move into.

As a small team on a fast growth trajectory there will be opportunities for career development at Sew Heart Felt. Our team is to double in size every year for the next three years, meaning there will be more people to manage and more responsibility to take on.

Being on the journey with Sew Heart Felt is going to be hard work and there will be ups and downs, but we can guarantee you will learn a lot, have a lot of fun and work with talented and creative people.
