Job Description:
As a Part-Time DevOps Engineer, you will be a key player in enhancing our development and deployment practices. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to implement automation tools, manage cloud infrastructure, and ensure the security and efficiency of our systems. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of DevOps principles, proficiency in scripting languages, experience with cloud platforms, and a proactive mindset towards continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:
– Collaborate with development and operations teams to streamline and automate software delivery processes.
– Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for efficient and reliable code deployment.
– Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability and reliability.
– Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure using platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
– Implement security best practices to safeguard systems and data.
– Define and document DevOps processes in collaboration with other team members.
– Stay updated on industry trends and advancements to propose and implement improvements.
– Provide support during system outages and participate in on-call rotations if required.
– Contribute to the overall improvement of development and deployment practices.
– Undertake any other DevOps-specific tasks as required.

Requirements:
– Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role.
– Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
– Proficiency in scripting languages like Django/Python.
– Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Travis CI, or GitLab CI.
– Strong understanding of containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
– Knowledge of infrastructure as code (IaC) principles using tools like Terraform or Ansible.
– Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
– Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
