You will be joining a small team of dedicated and success-driven professionals who together are making a huge impact on the worldwide golf industry. We are a distributed, multi-cultural, and multi-talented group who works hard and relies on each team member for the successful growth of our startup.
Responsibilities for this role include:
– Building test scripts using for Selenium and Puppeteer using javascript in
– Debugging and troubleshooting scripts written in , PHP, and optionally Go
– Understanding booking rates and configuring specific parameters in our systems
– Providing continual quality assurance on existing profiles and rates, and identifying issues
– Organizing processes, solutions, and learnings from your role into a shared knowledge base
– Assisting Head of Special Projects, and the wider Engineering Team
The ideal candidate is someone who:
– has good knowledge of JavaScript, ES6, source control (i.e. Git), and Chrome browser debugging
– has basic knowledge of Docker and deployment strategies, and queueing system (i.e. RabbitMQ)
– has basic understanding of the Linux OS and commands to configure servers
– is able to write SQL and NoSQL scripts for database manipulation
– is very detail-oriented, meticulous, and thorough in their work
– is able to immediately identify errors, leading to nearly perfect output
– has strong organizational skills and is proactive in resolving issues as they arise
– is self-motivated and thrives in a remote work environment with a positive “can-do” attitude
– works well with others and is well-structured, dependable, and is driven to succeed in a startup
– has an enthusiastic energy and strong command of the English language, with excellent writing skills
