We are currently in search of a DevOps specialist to join our team as a contractor to lead the transition of our existing WordPress sites to our new and improved CI/CD infrastructure. As a key player in our organization, you will bring your expert knowledge of ’s Bedrock for modern WordPress development, Git, GitHub Actions, and Unix/Linux to improve and optimize our systems.

Scope of Work
The primary objective of this project is to upgrade our existing CI/CD pipeline and transition our existing WordPress sites to utilize this improved infrastructure.
Tasks
CI/CD Pipeline Enhancement: You will enhance our existing CI/CD pipeline to improve efficiency, reliability, and overall performance.
Site Conversion Preparation: To prepare for the transition to the new CI/CD pipeline, you will review and improve our analysis and develop a plan to migrate our existing WordPress sites.
Site Conversion: You will convert each of our WordPress sites to use the enhanced CI/CD pipeline. Each conversion will be thoroughly tested to ensure functionality and performance.
Post-conversion Testing: After each site has been converted, you will conduct thorough testing to ensure that all features, links, images, and other elements function correctly on the new pipeline. You will provide technical support and troubleshooting solutions, related to our WordPress deployments when necessary.
Documentation and Reporting: You will provide detailed documentation of the work done, including any important information about the new CI/CD pipeline that may be required for future maintenance or upgrades.
Timeline: The project’s timeline will be agreed upon after discussing the contractor’s availability and expected completion time for each task.
Deliverables
Enhanced CI/CD pipeline.
A detailed conversion plan for the existing WordPress sites.
Wordpress sites successfully converted to use the new CI/CD pipeline.
Comprehensive post-conversion testing report.
Detailed documentation and report on the project and any significant details about the new CI/CD pipeline.
About You
You have deep experience with Bedrock for modern WordPress development.
You have expertise in Git, GitHub Actions, Docker, and Unix/Linux.
You have strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to think critically.
You have excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
You have a proven ability to manage projects and meet deadlines.
Knowledge of Cloudways will be considered an asset.
