Dietitian/ Admin Assistant

We’re growing our back office admin team again and are looking for someone to join us on our mission helping the worlds top chefs manage their menus smarter using our super smart web app.

Attitude, reliability, communication and attention to detail is more important than qualification.

Ideally you would need you to have:
• An interest in food service
• A tertiary educational qualification
• Strong written and communication skills
• A keen interest in user-friendly technology
• The ability to problem solve complex scenarios
• Excellent skills in Excel and very computer literate

We’re not a start-up – we have a lot of experience and a very active user base who love our app. Our team are incredibly passionate about what we do and we love putting our heads together and solving our users problems together. We might be 20 years old as a company but we’re as young and innovative as we have always been.

We’re looking for people who love friendly but powerful tech and who want to be part of something big. This is a full time remote role. We value everyone working local business hours when we perform at our best. This is not a one-off gig but rather a full time role with a growing company. You’ll be part of a growing team committed to innovating new features dreaming about what the future holds.

We work an agile process with daily stand-ups. We value everyones opinion and like to solve problems together. We like to challenge our thinking with A/B testing and value our users’ feedback whenever possible.

Your responsibilities will include:
• Researching food, compiling and improving datasets
• Assisting our data science team build machine learning models to process data like nutrition, diets and allergens accurately and quickly.
• Working with our developers, Dietitians, chefs, QC to test and document features

While there will be manual work involved initially, we prefer to develop algorithms and automate as much as we can using cutting edge tech like machine learning. You’ll be working closely with our Data Scientists on some BIG data! Likely the biggest food database in the world.
