We are a boutique web design and marketing agency located in Canada, that are passionate about helping our clients grow their businesses online. We serve a wide range of clients including heavy equipment and construction, landscaping and home services, food retail, and real estate.
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
We’re looking for an experienced Digital Account Manager who can help us deliver client happiness and free up the CEO to focus on business development. We have great, long-term relationships with our growing roster of clients and the CEO now needs help managing these relationships.
This is a remote or work-from-home role and would ideally suit someone wanting to work 4 hours a day, 5 days a week, and would ideally suit someone who is self-motivated and can work without being micro-managed. We are located in North America, so you will be expected to work from 9pm until 2am Philippine standard time.
You should be ready and willing to get great satisfaction from serving our audience and become an integral part of our small creative team. You should have excellent people skills, integrity, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset. You’ll report directly to the CEO on a daily basis.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Your job will be to use your past experience to:
– Manage the relationship with all existing clients and onboard new clients
– Respond to incoming requests from clients both by video and email
– Keep track of projects, tasks and ensure deadlines are met
– Review/test new website features to ensure they work as expected
– Proactively seek out opportunities to help existing clients grow
– Delegate client requests for design, marketing, development or maintenance work to relevant team members
– Make sure the team has everything they need to succeed
– Update the CEO daily to ensure everything is on-track
– Proactively help improve our systems and processes
EXPERIENCE
You should have at least 5 years past experience in a project management role in a web or digital marketing agency environment. You should be experienced communicating with clients across a broad spectrum of small businesses, helping them get clear on their goals and assisting with solutions. Previous experience in web or marketing, and excellent written and spoken english is a must.
You should be able to build relationships with clients so they feel like they are in good hands and they trust that we will do what we say. This is how we have managed to build such great relationships with our customers so far. You need to be able to juggle a variety of accounts and tasks simultaneously and welcome challenges with a positive attitude.
You should be comfortable using project management software Clickup, Dropbox, Zoom, Loom, Slack and other cloud-based communication tools. Basic WordPress, Photoshop or Canva knowledge is a must.
HOW WE WILL HELP YOU SUCCEED
We want you to succeed in this role. We will provide any additional training you may need to get on board and hit the ground running. We’re not going to teach you how to do your job, because your past experience will serve you well. However, we will train you regarding our systems, our products and our customers so you can apply your skills to help us achieve our mission.
You will be job shadowing the CEO for the first 2 months and will be required to be on screen share for extended periods, watching, learning and setting up the systems to take over the roll, we encourage you to take notes and learn from this.
EMPLOYMENT TYPE
This is a part-time role and we’re not looking for an agency.
