Job Description

We are looking for an adaptable and skilled digital brand designer to join our growing company. This person is capable of working both independently and with our team. You have keen attention to detail, excellent organizational skills and a strong understanding of the relationship between brand strategy and design, and design software. You will work closely in collaboration with our team to produce solid digital products that will garner results for our clients across North America. You must be an original thinker, a clear communicator and have excellent attention to detail.

The Role:
– The Ask – Create digital-based brands from conceptualization through development to delivery
– The Work – Work on UI/UX projects for various mediums; websites, apps, digital docs, information graphics and social
– The Team – You’ll be part of a high-functioning studio, able to prioritize and manage multiple projects while being flexible to changing client and studio needs

Brand Design Responsibilities:
– Ideate, iterate and bring to life cohesive brand identities across various mediums; websites, digital documents, advertising, social media, physical environments and more.
– Understanding the client’s objectives and applying design in support of these drivers.
– Both produce and follow brand guidelines with a keen attention to detail.
– Confidently present your work, and take a positive attitude to feedback with a focus on constructive problem-solving.

UX Responsibilities
– Translate project objectives into results-driven web/app architecture, user-journey mapping and wireframing
– Ability to present UX documentation clearly
– Excellent analytical skills
– Knowledge of accessibility best practices

UI Responsibilities
– Ability to translate UX materials seamlessly into proprietary visual brand design that garner real results
– Confidently present your work, and take a positive attitude to feedback with a focus on constructive problem-solving
– Production of all visual assets to web-optimized format
– Animation skills an asset

Technical Experience:
– Software: Figma. Adobe Creative Suite including XD, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop. Microsoft Word, Powerpoint, Excel
– SEO experience and Google tools implementation
– Experience conducting QA testing
– Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript an asset but not required
– Knowledge of Webflow an asset but not required

Personal Attributes:
– Highly independent, solution-focused and detail-oriented
– Minimum 3+ years of industry experience
– Post-secondary education preferred but not necessary
