Unlock your creativity with Island Links! We’re in search of a talented Digital Copy/Content Writer who will take center stage in sculpting our clients’ brands and expertly conveying their products to captivated audiences.

Responsibilities will include:
Editorial:

Create engaging content for emails, newsletters, blog posts, and advertisements.
Ensure all editorial content includes a clear call to action to drive engagement or revenue, depending on the content type.
Maintain brand consistency across all platforms.
Edit copy produced by the marketing team and review all public-facing content from outside sources.

Product:
Write product descriptions for our website and other necessary content (e.g., category pages, footer elements, etc.).
Represent content and editorial in marketing meetings, sharing ideas and addressing challenges in promoting our products.
Communicate the potential impact of marketing promotions and plan how to keep up.
Assist with updating and managing the marketing calendar and Trello.
Brainstorm and contribute to product ideas, kits, tutorials, campaigns, and promotions.

Data & Technology Responsibilities:
Create and format new article pages for the website, including adding copy, links, alt text, and images.
Update older article pages as needed and maintain the featured article section.
Participate in user acceptance testing to ensure website designs are implemented correctly.
Create and organize article subcategories with fresh content.
Develop and document Standard of Work Processes.
Maintain visual management and standards of work.

Essential Daily Duties:
Effectively manage your workload and assign tasks as necessary.
Assist the Marketing Director in identifying key influencers and developing collateral.
Contribute to the development of innovative products, kits, tutorials, campaigns, and promotions.

Experience Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
Proven experience in writing and editing.
Digital marketing strategy experience is preferred but not required.
Provide three published writing samples, either in a document or a portfolio when applying.

Technical Skill Requirements:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Proficiency in common internet tools and systems.
Familiarity with blogging software, editing software, and Microsoft Office applications.
Knowledge of Salesforce and Marketing Cloud systems is a plus.

Soft Skill Requirements:
Ability to maintain productive working relationships with colleagues, demonstrating respect, integrity, and honesty.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask while maintaining focus.
Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to a dynamic work environment.
