Job Overview:

Drkhorse, a boutique consulting and advisory marketing firm, is seeking a dedicated Retention Marketing Specialist to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for creating, deploying, and optimizing retention marketing campaigns for direct-to-consumer (D2C) brands. Your expertise will help drive customer engagement, satisfaction, and revenue growth.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Creative Brief Management: Initiate and project manage creative briefs for all retention marketing campaigns, ensuring alignment with brand and campaign objectives.

Campaign Deployment Oversight: Supervise the quality assurance (QA) and deployment process for email and SMS campaigns, from briefing to execution.

A/B Testing and Analysis: Proactively suggest new A/B tests, analyze results, and translate findings into actionable insights and best practices to enhance campaign performance.

Performance Reporting: Generate regular weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc reports on email and SMS performance metrics. Analyze results and identify opportunities to boost revenue.

Audience Segmentation: Skillfully segment email lists to target specific customer segments effectively.

List Management: Maintain email list hygiene through scrubbing and optimization.

Retention Marketing Calendar: Collaborate with the company owner to manage and oversee the email marketing calendar, ensuring campaigns are aligned with broader strategies.

Creative Collaboration: Work closely with the email team to execute on-brand email and SMS creatives, fostering a cohesive brand image.

Data-Driven Personalization: Utilize data-driven segmentation and personalization techniques to enhance the relevance of campaigns.

Engagement Enhancement: Continuously improve email engagement KPIs through regular A/B testing and automation strategies.

Reputation Monitoring: Monitor email open rates and sending domain reputation to ensure optimal email deliverability.

Revenue Generation: Identify opportunities to drive revenue growth through retention marketing programs.

Collaborative Meetings: Participate in weekly meetings with the respective stakeholders to discuss performance, share insights, and explore opportunities for improvement.

Additional Duties: Fulfill other duties as assigned to support the overall success of retention marketing efforts.
