Digital Marketing Assistant

Are you tech-savvy, quick at navigating a computer/typing, and eager to learn? We’re seeking a Digital Marketing Assistant to join our online digital marketing agency. This entry-level position is ideal for someone who wants to grow their skills in the digital marketing world. Coding experience is not required and hardly used. We will provide training in all areas as needed. Your primary responsibilities will include:

1. Webpage Building:

Create basic webpages using the Weebly Designer platform.
Customize webpage layouts and designs as needed.

2. Content Creation:

Write and edit content for websites, adhering to SEO best practices.
Assist in crafting engaging and informative website copy.

3. SEO Implementation:

Follow specific SEO instructions to optimize websites for search engines.
Help improve website rankings and visibility.

4. Graphic Design Support:

Utilize Canva for basic image editing and graphics creation.
Collaborate on visual elements for web content.

5. Local SEO and Business Listings:

Help create and verify Google Maps listings for businesses.
Work on acquiring backlinks for websites to improve online presence.

6. Training and Learning:

Willingness to learn and adapt to new tools and techniques.
Take advantage of available training to enhance skills.

7. Miscellaneous Tasks:

Assist with various tasks related to our online business to optimize efficiency.

Requirements:

Tech-savvy with a willingness to learn.
Strong English written communication skills- must have confidence in grammar, spelling, and American style word choices- it’s the one training we can’t provide.
Basic understanding of graphic design, particularly with Canva.
A passion for digital marketing and a desire to grow in the field.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
