I am a solo entrepreneur operating in the consulting industry and currently seeking a Marketing Assistant who is both creative and detail-oriented to join me. In this multifaceted role, you will be responsible for creating and implementing our social media strategy, managing content creation, and supporting diverse marketing initiatives. This position entails a diverse range of responsibilities, from designing engaging graphics to developing persuasive sales collateral and contributing to business development efforts.
Social Media Management:
• Develop and implement monthly social media content calendars in alignment with brand voice and marketing objectives.
• Create visually compelling and engaging social media posts using tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
• Monitor and manage social media channels, responding promptly and professionally to comments and messages using Zoho Social.
• Analyze social media performance, providing insights to inform future strategies.
Content Management:
• Research and compose high-quality blog posts, articles, and other content for the website and various marketing channels.
• Optimize content for search engines and social media platforms.
• Schedule content for publication using Zoho Sites.
Marketing and Sales Collateral:
• Generate, update, and maintain lead magnets, sales pages, case studies, presentations, and other marketing collateral.
• Create beautiful landing pages using Convert Kit for various the following lead gen activities – Download PDF/eBook, Consultation Bookings and Affiliate Sales
• Ensure consistency of brand messaging across all marketing materials.
• Manage the company portfolio showcasing projects, client testimonials, and achievements.
Business Development:
• Assist in sending proposals and managing follow-up processes.
• Conduct research to identify potential leads and partners.
• Contribute to lead generation and qualification activities.
Additional Responsibilities:
• Stay abreast of current marketing trends and best practices.
• Provide assistance with other marketing-related tasks as required.
• Proactively identify and implement opportunities to enhance marketing efforts.
Tools Used:
• Zoho One (CRM, Social, Sites, Connect)
• Canva
• Convertkit
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a marketing or communications role.
• Strong writing and editing skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Experience with social media platforms and content creation tools.
• Proficiency in project management and scheduling software.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
• Passion for continuous learning and staying abreast of the latest marketing trends.
• Previous experience working with clients in the consulting space, particularly in the US/UK markets.
