Goal: Maintain an engaging and seamless shopping experience for our online customers. Manage and optimize the visual presentation of our products on our website to drive sales, improve customer engagement, and increase overall conversion rates across our wines and mercantile.
• Assure daily maintenance of our website: banner, promo, featured products
• Input, manage, and test promo codes, ensuring seamless functionality for customers during the checkout process
• Organize and categorize products on the website to ensure ease of navigation and a well-structured user experience
• Set up bundled product kits, gift packs, and non-wine items as needed
• Stay up to date with e-commerce trends
• Address and resolve any issues related to promo codes, collaborating with technical teams if necessary
• Propose an advertising strategy if needed
• Develop and implement performance marketing strategies to drive customer acquisition and revenue growth
Online Campaigns:
• Propose and implement email aligned with owner objectives.
• Identify target audience segments.
• Write and design compelling copy for emails.
• Create engaging visuals and multimedia content.
• Set up a schedule strategy for the year and execute it.
Performance Monitoring and Analysis:
• Optimize SEO
• Recommend advertising possibilities.
• Track key metrics (open rates, click-through rates, conversion rates, etc.).
• Analyze campaign performance and making data-driven optimizations.
• Report on the effectiveness of email marketing efforts.
• Conduct market research to identify target audiences and trends
Marketing
• Assist owner with marketing materials design: holiday card, tech sheets, stationery, etc… Knowledge of photoshop or in design required.
• Assist with DTC need for print or other media.
• Other duties and tasks assigned as necessary.
Required Skills:
• Experience in website merchandising, e-commerce
• Experience using Shopify and Mailchimp
• Excellent follow-through skills – can manage a project from start to finish
• Motivated, team player, but comfortable working independently
• A keen eye for design and an understanding of visual merchandising principles
• Familiarity with SEO best practices and their application in website merchandising
• Shows commitment to excellence and high standards in work product
• Flexible with the ability to prioritize competing tasks, and manage change appropriately
