This job can be part time or full time, depending on level of experience.
We’re a rapidly growing martial arts products company, primarily serving the USA and in need of some help! You can work on your own schedule, help us grow and use your creativity to do so. We’ve become known for the wonderful content we produce – from podcasts to written content. We’re doing so much that we’re not doing a good job using our content to generate sales. And we need your help!
We have a number of ways our customers discover us – our podcasts, our websites, social media, just as you’d expect. Our revenue comes in from a few places – selling products and programs on our websites, as well as our Patreon. We need help getting the people who find us to buy things.
Our primary sales website is on Shopify, but we also use Squarespace and WordPress.
Our main social media channels are Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube, and we manage them with Loomly.
We track SEO with Agency Analytics.
Our podcasts are on Libsyn and Anchor.
Our current goals include: better usage of Klaviyo, more reliable and productive Mailchimp campaigns, Instagram Shopping, and creating effective paid advertising on social media that targets abandoned card customers (probably through Klaviyo).
The more you know about these things the better, but the right person for the job may not know all of these platforms when they’re hired – that’s OK.
As we are a martial arts company, understanding of martial arts would be helpful, but is not required.
Qualified candidates will be asked to submit short writing samples answering questions about their knowledge on various relevant topics. Final candidates will be paid to review our websites and platforms and answer questions as well as offer feedback.
If hired, the candidate will have a paid 2-week trial period. If we both decide it is a good fit, you will be hired. We will agree on the number of hours per week before the trial period. Pay will be based on level of experience, $3-$6 per hour.
Payments will be made by Paypal. We will pay all reasonable Paypal fees.
