THE ROLE
We are looking for a well-rounded self-employed/freelance DIGITAL MARKETING MANAGER to work remotely in the Philippines, with a proven ability to craft engaging content and drive results. The ideal candidate will possess strong strategic thinking, communication, and adaptability skills, as well as a passion for digital storytelling and a commitment to staying abreast of industry trends.

THE KEY OBJECTIVES OF THE ROLE ARE:
• Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies to increase brand visibility, engagement, and drive traffic.
• Create high-quality, engaging content across various social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
• Manage and maintain all social media channels, including scheduling posts, responding to comments and messages, and monitoring audience feedback.
• Analyze social media metrics and performance data to track the effectiveness of campaigns and make data-driven decisions for optimization.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, tools, and best practices in social media marketing and incorporate them into strategy development.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure cohesive branding across all social media channels.
• Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and audience behaviors to identify new opportunities and areas for improvement.
• Implement social media advertising campaigns, including budget management, targeting, and optimization, to meet specific objectives such as lead generation or product promotion.
• Continuously evaluate and refine social media strategies based on performance insights and feedback to achieve and exceed organizational goals.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

• In-depth understanding of social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok) and their respective best practices for content creation, engagement, and advertising.
• Knowledge of social media analytics tools (e.g., Facebook Insights, Google Analytics, Hootsuite Analytics) to track and analyze performance metrics.
• Familiarity with social media management and scheduling tools to streamline workflow and optimize posting schedules.
• Awareness of current trends, developments, and emerging technologies in social media marketing and digital communication.
• Understanding of SEO principles and how they apply to social media content optimization.

COMPETENCIES

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
• Proven experience in social media management, preferably in a similar industry or role.
• Demonstrated success in developing and executing social media strategies that have driven engagement and achieved measurable results.
• Proficiency in graphic design and video editing tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, iMovie) is a plus.
• Certifications in social media marketing or digital marketing (e.g., Facebook Blueprint, Google Ads Certification) are advantageous.
• Ability to work independently and remotely with a reliable internet connection and necessary equipment.
• Fluency in English and proficiency in other languages may be beneficial, depending on the target audience and market.
