Students Explore Australia Pty Ltd is on a mission to connect young people with nature, to improve the wellbeing of our next generation. We predominantly achieve this through delivering school camps to Primary and High Schools across Australia, as well as Study Tours to international student groups across (mainly) Asia. We have been in operation for 8 years and have a reputation for being a leader in engaging international students with outdoor programs, and more recently engaging Australian local students in outdoor programs.
Students Explore Australia falls between the tourism and education industries, and operates alongside our sister brand – Aussie Journeys.

ROLE DESCRIPTION

In this role, you will be in charge of the digital marketing function of our business – which allows our message to be spread via paid digital marketing (approx 70% of the role) and organic social media management (30% or the role). This directly impacts how many young people we can connect with nature, and therefore how much positive impact we can have on young people. The role can be summed up into 2 major components:

Main Tasks: Paid Advertising Management (28 hours per week)
Managing Google search ads (35%)
Google display network ads (25%)
Remarketing (15%)
Facebook and Instagram (15%)
Linkedin ads (10%)

Side tasks: Organic Social Media Management:(12 hours per week)
Scheduling posts
Creating content using our digital asset pool, including creation of graphics, basic videos and text
Using Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn channels

Other tasks may include things such as:
Creating Process documentation (SOP’s)
Attending weekly meetings
Collaborating with team members to help them achieve their quarterly tasks.

The Ideal Candidate will be:

– A Digital Marketing Manager with at least 5 years of experience
– An expert in Google Search and Display Ads, Instagram, Facebook and Linkedin ads
– A proficient English communicator
– Process orientated, and a systematic thinker
– A rigorous advocate for our core values
– A person who can work independently to achieve a measurable ROI

Other Requirements:
– Stable internet connection with a minimum standard of 20 mbps download / 5 mbps upload
– Life-long learner with a thirst for knowledge
– Knowledge about travel or education preferred but not necessary

The role is permanent full time, with 40 hours of work expected per week. Our office is located in Everard Park, South Australia 5035, and we work in the Adelaide time zone, which is 6:30am – 3:00pm in the Philippines. We welcome applicants who prefer to work from home, office or a combination of both.
