JOB DESCRIPTION
Content Creation and Management:
– Responsible for creating and managing a content calendar for the company’s social media accounts and website blogs, including developing and producing relevant content.
– Develop and implement social media strategies to increase awareness and engagement.
– Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and inquiries on social media platforms.
– Analyze social media metrics and create reports to measure the success of campaigns.
– Create engaging presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint, Canva, or Google Slides.
Email Marketing:
– Create and manage email marketing campaigns to promote company products and services.
– Monitor email campaign performance and optimize for better open and click-through rates.
SEO and Web Optimization:
– Implement and maintain best practices in SEO content optimization.
– Conduct keyword research to identify high-value keywords and topics for content creation.
– Optimize website content, meta tags, and images for search engines.
– Ensure content is structured and formatted for readability and user engagement.
Team Collaboration and Reporting:
– Report to a manager supervising day-to-day work and responsibilities, ensuring effective collaboration and team interaction.
– Collaborate with the team to ensure consistent messaging across all digital channels.
– Work closely with the sales and customer service teams to align marketing efforts with business objectives.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
– Degree in design, digital marketing, or 2-3 years of related experience
– Proficiency in design and creative application suites such as Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.)
– Demonstrated interest and commitment to improving website search engine rankings through SEO strategies.
Familiarity with SEO tools, including Google Search Console, Google Analytics, SEMrush, and Ubersuggest.
– Knowledge and skills in creating designs for web assets such as banner ads, infographics, and social media graphics.
– Experience in leveraging large language models (LLMs) such as ChatGPT and Gemini to enhance workflow efficiency and generate content.
– Ability to create engaging presentations using PowerPoint, Canva, or Google Slides.
– Ability to work remotely and independently while maintaining effective communication with the team.
– Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
– Excellent communication skills for internal coordination and interaction with stakeholders.
– Proactive and adaptable approach, keen interest in the environmental solutions sector.
– Self-motivated and able to manage their schedule and deliverables.
