JOB SUMMARY:
Full Time- Remote
The Digital Outreach Specialist is a pivotal member of our team, serving as the primary liaison between the Outreach Team, clients, and external stakeholders. With a focus on relationship building, this role involves cultivating strong connections with website owners, journalists, publishers, and administrators. The ideal candidate brings expertise in off-page SEO, proficiency in utilizing link-building tools, and a collaborative spirit to support the Outreach Manager and Director of Strategy. Responsibilities include active participation in high-quality link-building campaigns, managing responses on the HARO platform, and contributing to effective outreach strategies. The role is well-suited for a marketing professional passionate about data-driven decision-making, adept at offsite SEO principles, and skilled in crafting engaging email content to captivate audiences.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Prospecting potential websites and people for outreach and placing links per each client’s campaign goals by doing natural link-building. Example: build a strong piece of content and get a link in return.
Experience in HARO writing a plus.
Following up with HARO emails
Constant follow-up, negotiation, and relationship-building with webmasters
Create effective email pitches to compel industry influencers to include a citation and/or link in previously created pieces of content or publish an article, guest blog, and opinion piece
Send personalized outreach emails and document link acquisitions to report on progress.
Run A/B tests on subject lines and email copy
Constant tracking of outreach efforts – Email open rates, email sents, links acquisition and how many new relationships were built.
Continuous monitoring and assurance of the client’s website’s healthy backlink profile
Continuous service and workflow improvement initiatives aimed at improving value and overall cost-effectiveness.
Conduct market research to find answers about consumer requirements, habits, and trends.
Collaborate with Client Services and other professionals to coordinate brand awareness and marketing efforts.
Monitoring trends to identify topical opportunities to promote our data, tools and content.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills (fluent English)
Able to work as part of a team
General Internet proficiency
Proficient in Google Docs & Spreadsheets
Highly organized
1-2 Years of experience in email marketing, digital marketing, SEO, social media, PR, or related field
Experience with Buzzstream
Experience with Scrapebox
Highly skilled in the following: backlink audit, backlink profile analysis, competitor analysis, KW analysis, blog distribution, and content syndication
In-depth knowledge of off-page optimization and digital PR
Video Meeting Experience
Strong passion for learning about website outreach efforts and PR tactics.
Experience with Teamwork project management platforms is a plus.
