We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Digital PR Exec to join our UK team to take day-to-day responsibility for Ideating and writing up Digital PR campaigns that will be pitched to media around the world in a ready to publish format, that earn our clients coverage, and backlinks.
There will be the opportunity to progress to a senior management position and run the Digital PR team as it grows, for the right candidate.
You’ll be working across multiple clients in various industries including Travel, E-commerce, Health, Automotive and more.
You’ll be focused on consuming the media and news to understand what publications like to write about depending on the current news cycle, upcoming events and seasons.
As an experienced journalist, you’ll understand what the media wants from a story: the headline, the angle, the what, the why. By understanding what makes a good story that appeals to broad audiences, and what generates emotion, reaction and interest, you’ll be well placed to come up with ideas for client campaigns that resonate with the journalists and writers they will be pitched to.

Working Schedule: 40/hrs week, Monday – Friday. Mostly Local Hours. UK hours flexibility required.
Salary & Benefits: PHP 40,000 to PHP 60,000 per month

The Role
Campaign Ideation: Because you’ll be an experienced reporter, you’ll know what makes a great story for broad audience appeal. You’ll be consuming the media in the UK and US from major publications to get an understanding on the types of articles they produce daily. Your main KPI is going to be using your skills, experience and creativity to come up with Digital PR campaign ideas relevant to our clients that lots of different publications will want to cover.
Campaign Monitoring: We’ll provide you with insights for keeping on top of what others are doing in Digital PR. What types of campaigns they are doing, what works, etc. You’ll be able to use this intelligence to assist you in ideating your own Digital PR campaigns.
Campaign briefing: You’ll be taking those carefully crafted ideas and turning them into a micro brief for other team members (if required), to go and source any data and information you need, that you’re unable to get yourself.
Asset Creation: You’ll then be writing up these campaigns as ready to publish press releases, so that recipient journalists are able to easily digest all the key information and quickly publish, adding their own editorial around yours. Part of this will also be crafting unique versions of your stories depending on type of publication or their location. You’ll also be tasked with creating any relevant graphics and images using tools such as Canva, or Infogram (that we’ll provide for you)
Team Collaboration: You’ll be communicating with colleagues on a daily basis to ensure you have any assets or information you need, brainstorming ideas
Key Requirements:
2+ years experience in a journalist/writer/reporter role
Demonstrable skill, experience & aptitude for creating and crafting stories
Fully fluent English
A high level grasp of English language grammar.
Outstanding communication skills
A Bachelor’s/College Degree, Journalism, Communication Arts, Marketing, Mass Communications or equivalent
Avid consumer of US & UK media/news
Strong sense of initiative & motivated, you must be able to research stories and find appropriate data sources for campaigns
Strong collaboration skills
A proactive attitude and a keen eye for detail
Intermediate Excel capabilities and comfortable with formatting, formulas, customizing reports etc
Advanced Google Search operator knowledge to assist with campaign research
Modern & capable computer with 8GB RAM or greater.
Fast & reliable internet connection, minimum 10mbps, fiber connection is required.
UPS for power/generator/backup, or a backup plan and location if your internet connection or power supply becomes unstable during working hours.
Decent headset and webcam for team calls.
A quiet/private workspace with little/no background noise
Training:
Full Training, Onboarding and shadowing in the first few weeks will be provided.
