DIGITAL PR OUTREACH SPECIALIST

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Digital PR Outreach Specialist to join our UK team to take day-to-day responsibility for outreaching PR campaigns to the media around the world. There will be the opportunity to progress to a management position and run the outreach team as it grows.

Start: Immediate
Working Schedule: 40/hrs week, Monday – Friday. Mostly Local Hours. UK hours flexibility required.

Salary & Benefits: PHP 40,000 to PHP 60,000 per month
Note: Salary will depend on your current competencies and experience matched to the positions requirements

Subject to successfully passing a 3 month probationary period the following will apply:

December 20th to January 1st OFFICE CLOSED: fully paid Christmas holiday. (in addition to 20 days paid leave)

The Role

Campaign Analysis: Your primary objective will be analyzing every campaign and unlocking every possible outreach angle to target the right media, in relevant locations, writing about relevant and similar topics.

Targeted Outreach List Building: You’ll then be building targeted outreach lists of journalists and writers (via our media databases), crafting highly relevant and personalized email pitches and outreaching these at the appropriate times based on the recipient’s time zone.

Outreach Pitch Creation & Scheduling: You’ll be crafting highly relevant and personalized email pitches and outreaching these at the appropriate times based on the recipient’s time zone.

Replies & Reporting: You’ll be responsible for handling emails back from journalists, replying or pushing to management for reply. You’ll also be responsible for finding and reporting on coverage and links earned from all outreach

Key Requirements:

2+ years experience in a similar role
Demonstrable skill, experience & aptitude for email outreach
Fully fluent English
A high level grasp of English language grammar.
Outstanding communication skills
A Bachelor’s/College Degree, Journalism, Economics, Marketing, Mass Communications or equivalent
Avid consumer of US & UK media/news
Basic/Working knowledge of how SEO works
Strong sense of initiative & motivated, you must be able to solve problems
Strong collaboration skills
A proactive attitude and a keen eye for detail
Intermediate Excel capabilities and comfortable with formatting, formulas, customizing reports etc
Tools (MuckRack, Roxhill, Mixmax, Close) experience preferred but not required
Modern & capable computer with 8GB RAM or greater.
Fast & reliable internet connection, minimum 10mbps, fiber connection is required.
UPS for power/generator/backup, or a backup plan and location if your internet connection or power supply becomes unstable during working hours.
Decent headset and webcam for team calls.
A quiet/private workspace with little/no background noise

Training:

Full Training, Onboarding and shadowing in the first few weeks will be provided.
