The producer is a hands-on role responsible for producing a broad spectrum of project deliverables. You will help, co-ordinate, strategise, and supervise the development of deliverables within the agency. You will liaise with multiple internal and external teams and rely on the wide breadth of skills of developers, copywriters, strategists, designers and social media teams to ensure that projects are delivered profitably and efficiently.
You’ll have a desire to learn various marketing strategies, tools, industry best practices and a keen eye for detail. Your process-oriented approach will ensure projects run smoothly, with on-time delivery and within constrained budgets.
You must be highly organised, be one step ahead, and be able to clearly communicate the project status and updates to stakeholders. A core function of this role is to support the sales and marketing account managers in the delivery of client projects.
You will work under the guidance and supervision of senior team members. As your experience grows, the expectation is that you will be able to deliver work independently.
Key Responsibilities
– Support the production and project management, from commencement to completion across projects such as website development, social media campaigns, email marketing, database management; and SEO and SEM audits, marketing collateral and campaign deliverables
– Successfully and proactively collaborate with multiple agency teams and hybrid resources involved in the overall delivery of our client projects
– Working closely with the design and development teams to ensure that designs are translated into compelling web pages, coding and testing websites, and communicating changes under the supervision of senior team members
– Follow our established project management procedures from start to finish – and improving these over time, and as procedures change and adapt communicate to the project team
– Contribute to reports for stakeholders with project status updates
– Ensure our projects are delivered within allocated timeframes and budget
– Over time be able to write clear and succinct project briefs, reports and documentation as required, including functional specifications where required
– Present work to stakeholders for sign-off
– Conduct SEO audits, keyword research and competitor analysis using a variety of SEO tools
– Resolve technical SEO issues and update key on-page SEO elements
– Develop website content templates, manage and update website content via a CMS
– Write and produce ad briefs for campaigns for the studio team and with input from Account Managers, Senior Producers and Digital Director
– Contribute to digital reports for clients with a variety of data sources to track client KPIs
– Troubleshoot website issues, managing plugin/app/api subscriptions and resolving client tickets
Experience Required
– Experience working in Production, Marketing, Social Media or Website Management, or relevant marketing fields is an advantage
– Knowledgeable in principles of website development, search engine optimization (SEO), digital advertising (SEM), social media management (SMM), email marketing, data reporting and print management.
– An understanding of marketing strategies, tactics, tools, and industry best practices is desirable
– Experience in managing Content Management Systems and a clear understanding of Content Management processes, best practices, requirements, troubleshooting websites and optimisation
– Excellent client communication skills, both written and verbal. You must enjoy speaking with clients and developers.
– Experience with the development, content management and testing of websites
– Hands-on experience with digital marketing tools such as WordPress, Hubspot, Salesforce, MailChimp, Survey Monkey, Google Analytics, Google Business Profile, Google Search Console, MarkUp, Figma and Flowmapp would be beneficial
