Digital Project Manager

We are a leading software development agency that offers a “software development team as-a-service”. We specialize in building high-quality, performant custom web and mobile applications for clients across multiple industries, including entertainment, healthcare, finance, advertising, and more.
We are currently looking for an experienced Digital Project Manager to join our team and manage a variety of web and mobile app projects.
Responsibilities
As a Contract Project Manager, you will:
– Collaborate with clients to understand their requirements, manage expectations, and keep them informed of project progress.
– Coordinate and manage web app and mobile app projects, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.
– Work directly with offshore engineers, providing direction and support to accomplish project goals.
– Implement Agile methodology and oversee project management using Jira.
– Attend and contribute to meetings with the VP of Project Management and the CEO.
– Direct and oversee quality assurance testing, ensuring that project deliverables meet the highest standards.
– Monitor and manage project timelines and budgets, making adjustments as necessary to keep them on track.
– Help assess project viability and provide input on the development process.
Requirements
– Proven experience as a project manager, preferably within a software development firm or agency.
– Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working with Jira.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to manage and collaborate with diverse teams, including offshore engineers.
– Strong problem-solving and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
– Prior experience in the software development process, including UI/UX design, backend and frontend development, DevOps, and quality assurance.
– Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects, while also collaborating effectively with team members and clients.
– Familiarity with technologies such as React, Vue, Click to view, ExpressJS, Laravel, Django, GraphQL, REST, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, CircleCI, and GitHub Actions is a plus.
