Flagright helps fintech startups prevent financial crime and remain AML compliant while enabling them to grow revenue and manage risk appetite in real-time. It’s an API-first solution with a no-code back office portal. We provide real-time responses even for data-intensive, complex rules via a simple and extensible API on a usage-based pricing model. We are on a mission to commoditize financial crime prevention tooling for startups globally and we’re looking for an experienced Frontend Software Engineer to join our team.

We are a Y Combinator-backed company based in Berlin, serving customers from 6 continents.

What you’ll need:
We are looking for a Digital SEO Specialist to manage all activities in the areas of search engine optimization, marketing research strategies and analysis to improve a website’s ranking on all search engines and social media.
At least 2+ years in managing Graphic Design and SEO activities such as content strategy, link building and keyword strategy to increase rankings on all major search networks. You will also manage all SEM campaigns on social media like Google, LinkedIn, Bing etc to maximize ROI.

You ideally have an entrepreneurial mindset or want to learn what it takes to work in an early-stage startup.

You will:
-Execute tests, collect and analyze SEO data and results, identify trends and insights to achieve maximum ROI in paid search campaigns.

-Track, report, and analyze website analytics and campaigns.

-Write compelling and high-quality website content, graphic design including video editing, blog posts and page descriptions.

-Monitor daily performance metrics to understand SEO strategy performance.

-Closely collaborate with the development team, design team and marketing team to drive SEO in content creation and to ensure SEO best practices are properly followed throughout website content.

-Recommend changes and optimize website architecture, content, linking and other factors to improve SEO positions for target keywords.

We’re looking for someone who has:
-2+ years of experience in leading and managing SEO, digital metrics, and web traffic and analytics.

-Demonstrable knowledge of link-building, content, and social media strategies.

-In-depth experience with website analytics tools (e.g, Google Analytics, NetInsight, Omniture, WebTrends)

-Experience with bid management tools (e.g., Click Equations, Marin, Kenshoo, Search Ignite)

-Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments.

-Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints.

-Knowledge of ranking factors and search engine algorithms

-Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in SEO and SEM

-Experience in content marketing and content growth strategies.

-Familiarity with CMS environments like WordPress.

-Basic understanding of PPC campaigns and social media marketing.

About the interview process:

R1: Exploratory chat with talent lead (30 minutes) with Ritika. This step is to get to know you better and help you learn more about us. We’ll talk about your background and prior projects/experiences, what drives and motivates you, and what you seek in your next role.

R2: Take home assignment

R3: Technical Round + Assignment Walkthrough (1 hour) with Hiring Manager, Joseph. We’re going to deep dive into past experience, looking for specific examples of times when you have demonstrated high ownership skills and an execution-minded attitude that is critical to success as part of our team.

R4: Bar raiser with our founder and CEO (30 minutes) with Baran Ozkan . This step is a way for us to understand your motivation, values and attitude. We’ll want you to give us specific instances where you’ve either demonstrated a behaviour (maybe you didn’t settle?) or achieved something that means you’re likely to be a really good fit here.
