WHO WE ARE:
We’re an international digital marketing agency that specialises in direct-response paid media. We’re looking for skilled direct-response copywriters with a proven track record to join our fast growing company.
This is an amazing opportunity to work with a grass-roots agency that excels at paid media, persuasion, web funnels, CRO, and more, to fine-tune your skills in the real-world of hardcore digital media.

HOW WE OPERATE:
Experiment and make mistakes! We give our team plenty of flexibility to experiment, think and work out how best to approach a problem. You’ll be given the space to contribute your own ideas, learn from others and constantly work on improving your craft.
We’ll also provide you with guidance on how to succeed as a copywriter at Digital Roo.
BUT… We will not spoon-feed or micro-manage you so you must be able to work on your own – this is not a role for people who love lots of instructions & require being told what to do. If that’s you, please do not apply.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
You’ll be the persuasive voice behind our brands, funnels, and paid media campaigns, working closely with the media & creative teams to come up with epic advertising campaigns. More specifically, you’ll be responsible for:
* Writing new Facebook/TikTok/Instagram Ads, YouTube Scripts, & Search ads
* Brainstorming new ideas with our graphic designers and media buyers
* Improving copy throughout our landing pages, websites & funnels through an iterative split-testing process
* Ideating new hooks, and appeals in existing markets
* Researching new markets and finding interesting studies/statistics that we can reference throughout our advertising campaigns
* Competitive research to help generate new ideas for new campaigns
* Assisting the creative team with copy direction on images for the various paid media channels we use

WE’RE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO:
* Has 3+ years experience in a similar role, either as a freelancer or for an agency (preferred)
* Has a proven track record of writing successful Facebook Ads, YouTube Scripts, landing page copy, and/or sales letters
* Loves learning & researching new markets, always thinking about how to ‘sell’ them
* Studies epic copywriting works such as Breakthrough Advertising and The Gary Halbert Letter
* Is interested in the wider genre of digital marketing and how copywriting plays a key role
* Has experience successfully working remotely
* Has excellent communication, collaboration and time-management skills
* Is smart, humble, creative and in general, a high achiever
* Is a self-starter with a positive & proactive attitude
* Is a team player who takes initiative to assist others with their work
* Loves tackling new & exciting challenges
