Job Description

Job Summary: We are a rapidly growing e-commerce company seeking an experienced and highly motivated Amazon Marketplace Expert and Operations Director to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Amazon’s ecosystem and a proven track record of managing successful Amazon Seller Central accounts. This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on Amazon expertise to drive our business expansion.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Leadership
– Own and manage our US Amazon operations.
– Set-up, launch, and manage Amazon International operations (Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Japan, etc).
– Implement goals and strategic direction for the business, ensuring alignment with broader business goals and vision.
– Develop and lead a high-performing team, setting strategies to drive profitable growth.
– Regularly collaborate with senior management, including C-level executives from vendors, partners, and internal teams.
– Manage a full P&L, including planning, forecasting, and driving growth for the category.

2. Account Management
– Oversee and optimize our Amazon Seller Central account, ensuring all listings are active, accurate, and fully optimized.
– Stay informed about all Amazon news, updates, and policy changes to ensure compliance and leverage new opportunities.

3. Advertising
– Oversee keyword research and SEO strategies to enhance product ranking and improve visibility and sales performance.
– Supervise and manage Amazon PPC campaigns to maximize ROI.
– Analyze campaign performance and make data-driven decisions to optimize ad spend.

4. Operations and Inventory Management
– Lead day-to-day operational aspects of the business, including price management and business improvement initiatives.
– Monitor and coordinate with the inventory team to ensure adequate stock levels and timely fulfillment of orders.
– Address and resolve any inventory-related issues promptly.

5. Market Analysis and Reporting
– Conduct market research to identify trends, competitive analysis, and opportunities for growth.
– Generate and analyze sales reports, providing actionable insights and recommendations to improve performance.
– Stay updated with Amazon policies, algorithm changes, and industry best practices.

6. Vendor Relations
– Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, negotiating contracts, terms, and pricing.
– Manage vendor performance and resolve any issues that arise.

Required Qualifications
• Minimum 5 years of proven experience managing Amazon Seller Central accounts with a minimum annual revenue of $20M.
• Expertise in both Amazon US and international marketplaces with a strong track record of success.
• Proficiency in using Amazon tools such as Seller Central, FBA, Amazon Advertising, and other relevant software.
• In-depth knowledge of Amazon’s algorithms, SEO strategies, and best practices for product listings and PPC campaigns.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
• Ability to stay on top of all Amazon news, updates, and changes.
• Experience in people management, negotiations, strategic planning, and forecasting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Visionary, flexible, action and results-oriented, self-starting, and trustworthy.
• An MBA in Business Management, Finance, or a similar field is required.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with other e-commerce platforms (e.g., eBay, Walmart, Shopify) is a plus.
• Certification in Amazon Advertising, Project Management, or related fields.
• Six Sigma certification

This role follows a fixed US Eastern Standard Time schedule, requiring a minimum commitment of 40 hours per week.
