Equity Platforms is a dynamic and innovative organization committed to reducing homelessness by providing quality apartments for families coming from shelters. We are seeking a talented and experienced Communications Director to join our team and help us enhance our brand presence, engage with our audience, and foster meaningful partnerships. As the Communications Director, you will be responsible for managing various communication channels, including social media, email, and partnership communications.
Responsibilities:
Social Media Management:
Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy to increase brand awareness, engagement, and followership across various platforms (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.).
Create, curate, and schedule compelling content that aligns with our brand identity and resonates with our target audience.
Monitor social media trends, track performance metrics, and use analytics to optimize strategies and improve results.
Respond to comments, messages, and inquiries promptly and professionally, engaging with our online community and addressing concerns effectively.

Email Management:
Oversee the development and execution of engaging email marketing campaigns to nurture leads, retain customers, and promote company initiatives.
Collaborate with different teams to gather content and ensure emails are tailored to specific target segments.
Monitor email performance, analyze metrics, and continuously refine strategies to improve open rates, click-through rates, and conversions.
Ensure compliance with relevant data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR) and maintain a clean and updated email subscriber list.
Partnership Communications:
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with external partners, stakeholders, and industry influencers to promote cross-promotional opportunities and strategic collaborations.
Collaborate with the business development team to identify potential partners and create communication strategies that align with shared objectives.
Develop and manage partnership-related content, press releases, and joint marketing materials.
Represent the company in partnership-related events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
Brand Messaging and Storytelling:
Ensure consistent and cohesive brand messaging across all communication channels and materials.
Craft compelling stories that highlight the company’s achievements, impact, and unique value proposition.
Collaborate with various departments to understand their initiatives and integrate them into overall brand narratives.
Overall Communications:
Develop and implement communication plans to address potential reputation risks and manage communications during challenging situations.
