Job Summary:
We are an established and rapidly growing e-commerce company embarking on the exciting launch of a new subsidiary. To support this expansion, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Director of E-commerce Operations. The ideal candidate will have extensive Shopify expertise and a proven track record in managing successful e-commerce operations, driving business growth in both B2C and wholesale markets, and launching new products effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Leadership:
• Own and manage our e-commerce operations on Shopify.
• Set up and implement goals and strategic direction for the business to drive profitable growth.
• Develop and lead a high-performing team.
• Regularly collaborate with senior management and external partners.
• Manage a full P&L, including planning, forecasting, and driving growth for the category.
2. Website Setup and Management:
• Oversee Shopify store setup, configuration, and customization to ensure a seamless launch and optimal performance.
• Integrate of all necessary plugins, tools, and systems for enhanced functionality and user experience.
3. Product Launch and Management:
• Strategize, plan, and manage product launches.
• Collaborate with product development, inventory, and logistics teams to ensure product readiness and availability.
4. Branding and Positioning:
• Define and maintain the brand image and voice across all digital platforms.
• Develop and execute comprehensive branding strategies for B2C and wholesale customers.
5. Marketing and Sales Growth:
• Develop and implement multi-channel marketing campaigns to drive traffic, engagement, and sales.
• Leverage SEO and SEM strategies to enhance online visibility and improve search engine rankings and sales performance.
• Manage email marketing, social media marketing, and paid advertising initiatives to achieve business objectives.
• Supervise and manage PPC campaigns to maximize ROI.
• Analyze campaign performance and make data-driven decisions to optimize ad spend.
6. Customer Experience and Service:
• Oversee the development and implementation of customer service policies and procedures.
• Ensure exceptional customer service standards.
7. Operations and Inventory Management:
• Lead day-to-day operations, including price management and business improvement initiatives.
• Monitor and coordinate with the inventory team to ensure adequate stock levels and timely order fulfillment.

8. Market Analysis and Reporting:
• Conduct market research to identify trends, competitive analysis, and opportunities for growth.
• Generate and analyze sales reports for actionable insights and recommendations to improve performance.
• Stay updated with Shopify policies and industry best practices.
9. Vendor Relations:
• Build and maintain strong vendor relationships.
• Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing and manage vendor performance.
Required Qualifications:
• Minimum 5 years of proven experience managing e-commerce websites on Shopify with 7-figure annual revenue.
• Proficiency in using Shopify tools and relevant e-commerce software.
• In-depth knowledge of Shopify best practices for product listings and PPC campaigns.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
• Experience in people management, negotiations, strategic planning, and forecasting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Visionary, flexible, action and results-oriented, self-starting, and trustworthy.
• MBA in Business, Marketing, E-commerce, or related field is required.
Preferred:
• Experience with other e-commerce platforms (e.g., Amazon, eBay, Walmart) is a plus.
• Certification in SEO, Project Management, Google PPC, or related fields.
• Six Sigma certification.

This role follows a fixed US Eastern Standard Time schedule, requiring a minimum commitment of 40 hours per week.
