Position Overview
We are seeking a Director of Finance or Comptroller with a profound understanding of the hospitality and real
estate sectors, specifically experienced in managing finances for hotels. This role is crucial for someone
looking to apply their expertise to streamline our finance, accounting, and reporting processes. The primary
goal is to ensure our financials are clear, well-structured, and conducive to facilitating bank loans and other
forms of financial growth. This position will involve overseeing the work of one or two remote bookkeepers,
ensuring accuracy and efficiency in our financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Leadership: Provide strategic leadership in financial planning and analysis, driving financial
strategies that support business growth and stability.

Accounting Oversight: Ensure the accuracy and compliance of accounting procedures with generally
accepted accounting principles (GAAP). Manage and oversee one or two remote bookkeepers, optimizing
their workflow and productivity.

Financial Reporting: Enhance financial reporting mechanisms to deliver clear and insightful financial data to
stakeholders, facilitating informed decision-making.

Banking and Financing: Prepare and present financial statements and projections to banks and financial
institutions to secure necessary financing for expansion and operational needs.

Process Improvement: Streamline financial processes for greater efficiency, implementing cutting-edge
technologies and systems for superior financial management.

Strategic Advisory: Act as a key financial advisor, providing insights and recommendations on financial

What We Look For

Experience: Proven experience in financial management within the hospitality industry, especially hotels and
real estate. Demonstrated ability to oversee remote teams and streamline financial operations.

Skills: Exceptional knowledge of financial modeling, analysis, and reporting. Proficiency in Quickbooks
Entreprise and systems pertinent to the hospitality industry.

Qualifications: BS degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration, with CPA certification preferred.

Leadership: Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to manage remote teams effectively.
