Director of Outpatient Services

FeldCare Connects is a home health therapy network located in California, we are looking for a remote Director of Outpatient Services. Previous home health experience preferred. This is a full-time position, working Monday through Friday, Pacific Standard Time.

A Director of Outpatient Services is responsible for the following:

-Accepting incoming patient referrals by gathering the appropriate preliminary information and inputting this information into our systems.
– The Intake Department works very closely with the Assigning Department (responsible for finding a therapist for each patient). Will follow up with Home Health Agencies and other organizations that refer patients to us to gather any missing information in order to expedite our ability to find a therapist for the patient or conclude that we do not have an available therapist ourselves.
– Will collaborate closely with the executive team to establish strategic goals and implement effective strategies to achieve them.
– Mentoring and Coaching: You will provide guidance and support to departmental staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development. You will identify individual training needs and develop personalized growth plans to maximize employee potential.
– Collaboration and Communication: You will collaborate with various departments and vendors to ensure seamless coordination, effective communication, and alignment of goals. Your exceptional interpersonal skills will be crucial in building strong relationships with team members, physicians, and external partners.
– Utilization of EMR and other software systems (Raintree highly preferred)
Overall, the Director of Outpatient Services facilitates a patient’s successful transition into our care or identifies our company’s inability to help a patient due to coverage, scheduling, or other types of incompatibilities.

We are looking for a Director of Outpatient Services who is willing to roll up their sleeves when needed and would not mind doing admin tasks.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

• A minimum of 3 years related experience preferred; or at least four years related experience and training; or an equivalent combination and work experience considered
• Working knowledge of credentialing accreditation regulations, policies, and procedures
• Certified Professional Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) certification preferred
• Payer-Provider Enrollment: 1 year (Preferred)
• Healthcare: 3-year (Preferred)

COMPUTER SKILLS:
• Expert-level knowledge of Microsoft Office Products.
• Experience with credentialing software is preferred but not required.

Additional Requirements:

– Must be good at working on a graveyard schedule
– Must have good experience with healthcare
– Must have own laptop w/ good internet connection
– Must have backups in case of power outage
– Willing to start ASAP
