Job Overview:
Astroblaster is seeking a Director of Product to lead our offshore team. The ideal candidate prioritizes understanding and meeting customer needs, possesses strong project management skills, and is technically proficient. The Director, Product Development is a senior leadership position that defines and delivers the product vision, strategy, and roadmap, leading a team that is responsible for the launch of new, and enhancement of existing products and services. This position leads the Product Development team which is responsible for preparing product strategy recommendations, providing expert consultation, and performing assessments and analyses supporting corporate priorities, market strategies, product strategies and product launches. This is a multi-faceted position that requires strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work across teams delivering results in a fast-paced environment. The successful individual will possess the ability to solve business challenges with technology while establishing long-term solutions to improve the quality and delivery of Astroblaster’s products and services.

Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain a product roadmap aligned with business objectives and customer expectations.
Implement QA processes to ensure high-quality, user-friendly products.
Perform basic scrum master facilitation – sprint review/planning, retrospectives, and standups with the scrum teams.
Ability to have highly efficient project management skills.
Incorporate customer feedback into product development to enhance user experience.
Lead and inspire the Product Development team in envisioning and building world-class products that will benefit and delight customers and contribute to Astroblaster’s top and bottom-line growth.
Act as a liaison between the offshore product team and other departments, ensuring full clarity.
Establish and monitor performance metrics, emphasizing customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years in product management leadership roles.
Experience leading A-teams and managing sprints effectively.
Strong project management skills with a history of successful product launches.
Familiarity with GHL
Proven customer-focused approach in previous roles.
Fluent in English with effective communication abilities.
Effective communication skills, able to present complex ideas and tailor the delivery to different audiences.
Excellent decision-making skills, working to identify scope and owner, and consulting and communication with stakeholders.

Commitment to continuous improvement of technical and non-technical skills.
